Calculator and quote inputs stay in the active browser session.
Equipment details, costs, repair history, comfort information, and ownership assumptions are processed in the browser to produce each result. They are not submitted to a Home Upgrade Toolkit account, analytics service, or database.
02 / Device storage
The equipment planner is saved locally because that is its purpose.
Planner names, equipment types, installation years, optional service months, and notes are stored in local browser storage on this device. Removing browser site data removes the plan. Home Upgrade Toolkit has no server copy and cannot restore or synchronize it.
03 / External links
A ZIP code leaves only when you open the destination link.
The incentive screen uses the ZIP code in browser memory to construct an ENERGY STAR search link. Home Upgrade Toolkit does not save or submit it. Clicking the link sends the ZIP code to the external destination, which applies its own privacy policy.
04 / Analytics
Sensitive form contents do not belong in analytics.
No analytics service is currently enabled. If product analytics are added later, exact addresses, quote text, notes, and calculator financial inputs will remain excluded.
05 / Public evidence
Raw household-level permit records are not published.
Source audits use privacy-minimized fields. Public artifacts contain aggregate evidence only, above a stated minimum sample threshold. Exact permit addresses are not used as price examples.
