Corrections / public record

A trustworthy tool needs a visible memory.

Material errors are corrected at the source, documented here, and tested against the calculations or pages they affected.

01 / Standard

Material changes receive more than a quiet edit.

A material correction changes a numeric result, safety message, eligibility statement, source decision, important limitation, or a reasonable homeowner's interpretation. Typographic fixes that do not change meaning are maintained without a log entry.
